Stay hungry, Stay foolish

     Yesterday was special, my friend Dana texted me that she would not go to the study group, where I have been helping her with her Chinese study, therefore I decided to go there alone to help others.
     Dana's friend Adliet greeted me and invited me to sit with him, then there came Lance, wholesale jerseys,a gentlemanlike and polite Latvian. He has a typical north-European look: blonde hair, green eyes. I had actually known him for I took him and Dana to the Wednesday night concert and we had brief talks. He was born in Latvia but he studied in German before senior high so he can speak fluent Germany and English, later after that he went to Russia to finish high school study. Since Russian is his mother language, he chose French as his second one. He had traveled to many countries and he practiced his French in Belgium, also, he can understand Spanish through French even though he had never learnt it before.He really has a talent for language learning, perhaps it is the territorial superiority for most Europeans know more than two languages because geographically the countries are close to each other. Since I am learning Spanish, French and Russian and I have been to Russia,cheap mlb hats, we have plenty of mutual topics.It was raining heavily and extremely dark so he offered to walk me to the dormitory. During the walk we had discussions on psychology and mythology, he told me that he loves literature translation, especially Pushkin's poetry. He had translated them into German, English and French. He suggested that I shall study a certain language at one time as well as pay full attention to it, which is of high efficiency.
     Lance is knowledgable but he never brags about what he knows, he always keeps a low profile whenever others come up with a distinct idea. If he has some different opinions with me, he will interpret it patiently and try to create a brainstorm between us, which useful for broadening our horizons and developing the ability to think independently. I realized that I have just known a tiny part of the knowledge base, there are so much more for me to explore and learn. An extraordinary person is always modest for the reason that the more he knows, the more he is likely to find out that it is just a tip of the iceberg. It is high time that I should read more and question more.
